Black in fashion

Myself and one of my best friends were just this morning talking the disadvantages of Christmas and holidays….now there’s only one, that being having eaten all around myself for the past two weeks or so and gaining weight. At the moment everything is just a tad too tight and the denims are squeezing that bit more at my waist.

Never fear though ladies, with 2016 well and truly underway and all the New Year’s resolutions firmly in place it’s time to get cracking on a look that is not only stylishly on point but also our new best friend in hiding any wobbly bits that may suddenly have appeared.

Black is uber fashionable, flattering to wear, and hides a multitude of sins. Does  this colour really ever go out of fashion?

Style Inspiration;

Look One: Night time glamour based on Queen Olivia’s styling.

That statement collar piece is from the amazing Jewel Genie here My sister buys lots from this lady and her pieces never disappoint.

Charlotte Tilbury lippie Such a great lipstick, I find it suits every look and is very moisturising. It’s called Penelope pink.
Look Two: Daytime chic based on street styling.

Tie sandals

Soludos These always sell out so if you like them, purchase now!

Tan belt

L’Oreal delicate rose by Naomi, I have this too. Bit of a nude lippie addict. Another one for your beauty bag.
These shirt dress looks get my seal of approval, not only will it be my saving grace while I shed some unwanted pounds but it will continue to flatter into summer with a nice golden tan.

Also if Olivia Palermo gives it a thumbs up…..I am sold!

Happy shopping,

Fashionably yours,
