Sightseeing style

‘Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer’.

I love that quote almost as much as I love this picture. This was taken outside Grace Cathedral in San Francisco.

San Francisco will always have a special place in my heart as it’s where I spent a summer with three of my best friends in 2008. I also have family there and I returned to visit with my boyfriend this summer just gone.

There is literally so much to do and for foodies, wine buffs or sports fans alike it is a must visit destination but that’s for another post on another day.

Steal her style!

I personally love this print, it’s in quite a few of the high street shops at the moment.

I’ve seen a really cute spaghetti strap dress in Savida with this print and it was very reasonable.

Trend Report; Cosy knit jumpers

Sometimes a good cup of tea, a pair of bedsocks, (how fashionable am I?) and your bed is all you want after a hectic day at work. However, on the days where we are actually required to interact with people outside of the haven that is our bed, a cosy knit jumper will more than suffice. It will keep you warm and looking stylish. I’m sold!

Ted Baker Style Steal

There’s something so effortless and undone about this look. I love the printed blouse and even though there are black undertones in it, this fashionista has paired it with blue denim jeans.

The fedora is literally a cherry on top and finishes off the look nicely.

I don’t know about you, but that fedora has moved into prime position on my Lust List! There isn’t much space left on it by now.

Style Steal

The minute I saw this look I knew I had to do a style steal post. I love a good sleeveless trench and the camel colour of this one is so easy for everyone to wear.

You can read my previous post about sleeveless trenches here. They are a great transitional piece.

Steal her style; Louise Roe

‘You can’t have a bad day in polka dots‘ Anna Kendrick.

When it comes to style, there’s little this British beauty doesn’t know. I’ve loved her since her days on The City with Olivia Palermo and Whitney Port. I’m now an avid follower/stalker of her Instagram for daily style fixes.
Here she is pictured in New York, wearing blush and black tones. Her look is flirty, fun and seriously elegant. She has certainly kicked off New York Fashion Week in style. You can read my post on NYFW here

New York Fashion Week

Twice a year, in February’s snow covered chill and then again in September’s sunshine, New York’s streets overflow with models, buyers, celebrities and fashion editors alike. For both the spring/summer and the autumn/winter, New York Fashion Week promotes America’s fashion talent to the world, from big name designers to up – and – coming talents.

And every year around this time, I wait with baited breath to see the latest images from NYFW. It’s my absolute favourite fashion event of the year!

It doesn’t kick off until September 10th but already there have been some notable changes to the setup. There’s the revamped logo, Lexus sponsorship and no more Lincoln centre.

Some top names I’ll be keeping my eye on this year are; DKNY, J Crew, Diane Von Furstenburg, Lauren Conrad and Alexander Wang.

I will also be doing some serious style stalking, I can’t wait to see what my favourite celebs wear to sit frow side.

Here are some of my favourite celebrity looks from previous fashion weeks.

Also who could forget Kendall Jenner’s triumphant takeover at most collections catwalks last year?

DKNY

DOLCE AND GABBANA

Of course some of the strongest looks came from not your standard models and street style stars but from some of our favourite bloggers.
